23 Capital is delighted to be sponsoring the Music Finance Forum at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles this fall. The event brings together key financiers and operators across the music industry to discuss the current trends and challenges that affect our businesses and we are proud to be attending in partnership with Winston Baker. We will be discussing how 23 Capital’s works with the music sector and will be looking more in-depth at the capital solutions and financing of the music industry.

Increasingly investors are now evaluating the music industry and the changing nature of financing in this space, as they consider acquiring music catalogues as a route to deliver a reliable return. Music assets come with their own portfolio of challenges, including royalty recovery, data recognition, complex licensing structures, accounting issues, fraud, and lost revenues. Our team of specialists work closely with artists and their managers, songwriters, music publishers and record labels to deliver innovative finance solutions, always supporting creativity and flexibility.

Creativity is at the heart of the music business, and remains an important aspect of so many elements of the business, so why shouldn’t it be applied to providing finance solutions that deliver? 23 Capital’s ability to think ‘outside the box’ and deliver innovative solutions is a core offering to our clients.

Key players from the music sector perceive a constant struggle between the finance world, the record labels and the artists themselves. At 23 Capital, we don’t believe this needs to be the case. We constantly challenge ourselves to deliver capital solutions and financing for all aspects of the music industry including artists, managers and labels, enabling us to drive value for artists and financiers alike and provide a valuable service to our clients.

The Music Finance Forum will be a great event as the industry comes together in one place to discuss the future opportunities and challenges facing the sector. I am proud that 23 Capital will be on stage with our peers from the music industry and I look forward to seeing you all there!
